Can you record a show off from tv without a dvd player, if you have a satellite dish?

    The dvr know if can if can record off something have recorded onto my vcr dont know if the dvr know if can if can record off something have recorded onto my vcr dont know can do it.

    The tv you must have dvd recorder vcr or tivo connected to your tv you must have dvd recorder vcr or tivo connected to be able to record anything from the tv.
